Although I have experience providing therapeutic support to children, teens, couples, and families, today I feel my skills are best matched with individual adults in need of support.
Our first session together will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit for each other and decide what goals you would like to work on in your therapy sessions.
All sessions will run about 45 minutes in length and the frequency of appointments is based on your needs. Some clients come in weekly, some come in twice each month, some come in monthly, and some come in a few times each year for a few sessions at a time to get support on changes in their life. The important thing to know about therapy with me is that there is no cookie-cutter approach. Everyone's process is unique.
One thing that is the same from client to client is the fact that I approach all counseling sessions from a strengths-based perspective, assisting you to identify and draw upon your inherent resources. Authenticity, transparency and acceptance are deeply valued by me, resulting in truly honest and supportive counseling sessions. By collaborating closely together, you and I will define and work toward realistic goals in order to maximize your time in counseling.
